Stay Vigilant in Mind and Body
Published: March 2020
Fellow Destination Seekers,
Now more than ever we need the power of community and friendship to stay confident and free of stress. Over the last forty years, there has been ample evidence linking stress and the immune system.
When stress is present, the immune system is compromised and unable to fight off infection and disease. It is imperative that we stay vigilant in mind and body to stay healthy. It is important to stay connected with our loved ones while social distancing from those that we otherwise wouldn't be around. It is helpful to maintain a routine and schedule within reason —to keep life as normal as possible. Over the next few weeks, life will move at a slower pace due to many of the state / federal mandates and social distancing, which has entered the mainstream vernacular because it is proven that isolation is an effective means of fighting the virus.
Members of our Community are booking stays at D. Alexander destination homes in response to the virus as we offer driveable locations, cleanliness, sanitization and mobile access. Our community has been reaching out about utilizing our homes as an opportunity to practice effective social distancing while reducing stress. Our homes are equipped for this kind of retreat and isolation.
If you’re seeking destination that’s clean, close, and stress-free, we have you covered.
